One of the key components of uImagine is our ability to work collaboratively. Collaboration is foundational to our work, not an add-on or an objective – it is how we work.
To facilitate this uImagine is engaged in establishing a strong network around online learning. This includes establishing partnerships with institutions and industry, membership of key international organisations, contributing to national and internationally recognised research projects as well taking on leadership roles in publications and scholarship.
LT Media Lab
The Learning Technologies Media Lab at the University of Minnesota and uImagine are working collaboratively to develop the Indigenous Knowledge Networks project.
As a partner institution of the OERu the uImagine team is actively contributing to the development of courses and technology to support this initiative.
This project, funded by the Office of Learning & Teaching, inserts the missing voice of students in understanding emerging technology-based open educational practices (OEP).
It aims to:
- Determine how student learning outcomes can be enhanced with open education practices;
- Develop case studies that captures University Practice;
- Develop a National Policy Roadmap for Australia, fostering relevant uptake of open educational resources (OER) and open courses.
