The uImagine Digital Learning Innovation Laboratory is a think-tank for educational innovation, a catalyst for new scholarship in online learning and a laboratory experimenting in new educational paradigms and technologies. uImagine has been set up within the portfolio of the PVC (Student Learning) to explore the application of new technologies and approaches to teaching practice to underpin new ways of thinking about the design of learning resources, learning spaces and online learning curriculum.
uImagine is built around the concept of Imagineering. Imagineering combines imagination and engineering to demonstrate future possibilities and to move beyond predicting the future and instead actively shape it.
uImagine aspires to be a global leader for fostering innovative practice and scholarship in online learning. uImagine brings together diverse internal and external partners to build ‘communities for innovation’ that transform the use of digital technologies for quality teaching practice and research in online learning. uImagine personifies innovation and excellence to contribute to CSU’s national leadership in online and distance learning.
